Overview:
Troops from BHC's 33rd Panzer Grenadier Regiment moved into the city of Carentan on 23 May 2004.  BHC's 1st Battalion spearheaded the advance into the town, with troops from the 1st Platoon (red grey red names) playing a major role.  Troops from MoW's 23rd Infantry Division occupied the town but were caught completely by surprise.  BHC formed a fire line an defensive perimeter where the roads intersected and by the time MoW realized their mistake, BHC was dug in.  As MoW troops arrived at the fire line, they were immediately cut down.  BHC retained fire superiority as scores of MoW troops were eliminated.  2nd Lieutenant SteveO supported by Sergeant Clove lead a patched unit around the right flank and successfully pinned the enemy in the corner of the village.  The rest of the Battalion moved in and cleared the buildings, finishing off the remaining enemy troops.  Carentan was taken.

BHC continued the advance and caught up with the fleeing MoW division in the town of Neuville.  BHC held the line at a dirt road behind an abandon chapel.  When MoW command found that BHC troops had advanced into the city, they attempted to counterattack as they had at Carentan.  Unfortunately for the MoW cannon fodder, the tactic again failed as BHC held the line.  Again, BHC sent a team to flank the enemy and again MoW was pinned into a corner of the village.  MoW was routed from Neuville.

BHC soon found themselves in Pavlov where they successfully held "Pavlov's House" and the apartment building to the north.  Captain Snake_Eyes lead a flanking maneuver that literally chased the enemy troops counter-clockwise around Pavlov's house until a second unit led by 2nd Lieutenant SteveO and Sergeant First Class Swiftcut attacked from the other direction and caught MoW in a pincer.  MoW units were cleared from the area and pursued into a nearby harbor.  There BHC set up an aid station as casualties mounted, but the advance continued.  Eventually BHC routed enemy troops from the harbor and were relieved from duty.  BHC saluted and disconnected, a job well done.

Captain Snake_Eyes was awarded the Bronze star, Sergeant Clove was awarded the Purple Heart, 2nd Lieutenant SteveO was awarded the Medal of Bravery, and a few other troops were awarded Level 2 Citations.
